We admired the asparagus. It was beautiful. I ate it.
Nashville Farmers Market has a lot to answer for. Purple Peppers. My addiction to handmade soap. A considerably depleted bank account. On the upside, I guess I'm healthier, cleaner, but alas, still poorer....
Felix surveyed unfolding events whilst tap-dancing in the kitchen and staring down the roast beef, eyes as wide as saucers. That was my day. Oh, and learning how to 'stay'....(hooray!)
love that you are drawing your food!!!! You have made a great start. I lost 2kg recently thanks to keeping a sketching food diary...it is fun and tedious at the same time!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to see what you eat everyday, it's more fun to see your drawings everyday =) Keep it up please? :p
ReplyDeleteLovely sketches of your day - and I've never seen a purple pepper before.
ReplyDeleteSue
Aren't farmers' markets wonderful! These are fantastic sketches and photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the asparagus,I ate loads of it too this week!
ReplyDeleteI love your sketches, they're always so incredibly vibrant! These really make me hungry...
ReplyDeleteGawd, I can't believe I missed asparagus season this year.
You have started a fun diary. The placement of your dog and the beef is perfect!
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done, Louise. I look forward to your daily post.
ReplyDeletethanks for dropping in everybody!
ReplyDeleteLiz- I agree! I didn't realise this thing was going to be such a chore! I must eat too much- I seem to be drawing almost all day... Definitely a good challenge for discipline though.
Sue- indeed, I hadn't seen a purple pepper before either. The seller at the market almost yawned when I bounded up to her asking if it was indeed a purple pepper (?!?!?!wow!). Guess people had been asking her all morning! oopsy.
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement!
